Eugene McCrite "M.C. Turner was the son of Samuel Eugene Gipson Turner and Emily "Mila" Elizabeth Kinard. He married Malinda Rebecca Carr on December 24, 1896 in Conway, Faulkner Co, AR. They were the parents of: Offie Arnold "Buzz" Turner 10/16/1897, Atta Gertrude Turner (Brown) 8/28/1898, and Olene Merle Turner (Kelton) 6/25/1901. Malinda died during childbirth on March 11, 1903 and is buried with her infant son.

M.C. married Penola "Nola" Ethel Crye on May 26, 1908 in Conway, Faulkner Co, AR. They were the parents of: Edna Ruth Turner (Randle) 3/15/1909, Baby Daughter Turner 8/10/1910, Gladys Daphine Turner (Dow) 3/13/1912, Milton McCoy Turner 9/22/1915, Myrtle Lee Turner (Selig) 9/27/1917, Nancy Louise Turner (Abernathy) 9/25/1919, and Emma Gene Turner (Logan) 9/24/1923. M.C., also known as Crite, worked as the Assistant Superintendent for Maintenance for Conway, AR Light and Water Company.
