Debbie Lynn Burgess Sutherland, our beloved wife, mother, and daughter, age 37, passed away December 18, 1997 due to complications of heart surgery.
Born June 2, 1960, the daughter of Hawley Lynn Burgess and Shirley Ann Densley.
She was a source of joy and happiness to all who knew her.
Married Kent Sutherland, April 21, 1989, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.
Debbie loved to travel. Worked for Security National Life for 12 years.
Survived by husband, Kent, of West Jordan; children, one daughter, Erica Richardson of Salt Lake; three step-sons, Brandon, Jeremy and Dustin all of Boise, Idaho; parents, Lynn and Shirley Burgess, Salt Lake City; grandparents, Hawley and Blanche Burgess, Murray and Milton and Beth Densley, Midvale; sisters, Brenda Burgess, Salt Lake, and Shauna Adams and her husband Blake, Salt Lake; brother-in-law, Dave Childs; parents-in-law, Stan Sutherland and Donna Jenson; brothers-in-law, Brent, Ron and Chris Sutherland, Rick and Scott Borg.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 23, 1997 at 11 a.m. at Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 E. 7800 So., (Bengal Blvd.) where friends may call Monday, 6-8 p.m. and on Tuesday one hour prior.
