Elaine Mower Abbott, 79, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away Sunday, April 30, 1995 in Ogden, Utah.

She was born May 2, 1915 in Fairview, Utah a daughter of John and Mary Ellen Reynolds Mower.

She married Paul M. Abbott February 18, 1932, in Farmington.

Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

She was reared and educated in Fairview, Utah and had lived in Salt Lake City, Edmonds, Wash. and Kaysville for the past 35 years.

She was a member of the Kaysville 7th Ward and had been Primary President, had served as an officer in the Relief Society and as Young Women's President.

She enjoyed traveling, her grandchildren and friends.

She is survived by one son, John P. and wife, Ann Abott, Salt Lake City; one daughter, Marlene E. Abbott and husband, John, Naples, Fla.; grandchildren, Amy Abott, Andrea Bair, Aly Abbott, Zack Abbott, Jacob Abbott and one great-grandchild, Brittany Abbott.

Also one sister, Mrs. Erna Clark, El Cajon, Calif.; and by loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff of Aspen Care Center and Robert and Sheron Synder for their loving care and assistance.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 4, 1995, at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main.

Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment in Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park in Salt Lake City.
