Inman - Mrs. MONTIE EULA ATKINS, 53, died at Spartanburg General Hospital Sunday at 9:15 a.m. following a week's serious illness. A native of Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of Mrs. ELIZABETH BELUE ATKINS and the late JIM ATKINS. Besides her mother, survivors are: three brothers, CLARENCE and O. B. of Inman and W. G. ATKINS of Greer: one sister, Mrs. MARY WOOTEN of Startex. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Inman Mills Methodist Church by the Revs. J. B. LINDER, R. V. DILLINGHAM and Mr. WATKINS. Burial will be in the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery. The body will be at the home, 25 First Street, after 10:30 Monday morning and will be placed in the church Tuesday at noon. Palbearers will be: ROBERT WARDLAW, LAYTON and JIMMY ATKINS, VERNON BOONE, FURMAN BABB and MILTON FLOYD. Seawright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
