Mrs. Rose N. Amadon, Falls Road, Marcellus, widow of Howard R. Amadon, died this morning at home. She was 61.

A native of Marbeton, Quebec, Can., she lived in West Eaton before moving to Marcellus five years ago.

Mrs. Amadon was a member of the Marcellus Methodist Church and Women's Society of Christian Service.

She was a member of the Marcellus Garden Club.

Surviving are a daughter, Miss Mescal Amadon of Marcellus; two sons, Dale H. of Oneida Castle, and David W. of Bellfowler, Calif.; a brother, Alvin Doig of North Stratford, N. H.; six sisters, Mrs. Hettie Amadon of St. Johnsbury, Vt., Mrs. Lewis Cass of East Haven, Vt., Mrs. Lawrence Dean of Littleton, N. H., Mrs. Wayne Allard of Mount Pelian, Vt., Mrs. Fred Tupper of Canton, Me., Mrs. Norris Hartwell of East Burke, Vt.; and six grandchildren.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Calderwood Memorial Chapel, St. Johnsbury, Vt. Burial will be in Howland Cemetery, Burke Hollow, Vt.
