Agnes Elizabeth Jones Adams, 91, of Pulaski, VA, died at home with her family by her side on Monday, October 26, 2009. Born July 31, 1918, in Wythe County, she was the daughter of the late James Franklin & Ellen Wolfe Jones. Her husband, Larry Joseph Adams, and two brothers, Peyton and Lewis Jones, also preceded her in death. She was a nurse's aid at the Old Pulaski Hospital for 14 years before retiring from Coleman Furniture. Family left behind to cherish her memory include daughters and son-in-law, Karl and Carolyn Hager, of Dublin, Darlene Harvey, of Pulaski; grandchildren and great grandchildren, James A. & Debra Hager, Julia and Cynthia Hager of Hiwassee, VA, Thomas W. & Nicole Hager, Brooke & Stefanie Hager of Max Meadows, VA, K. Jefferson & Terri Hager, Bailey Hager of Belspring, VA, Michael E. Harvey and Melissa, Christopher and Elizabeth Harvey of Radford, VA, Larry J. and Teresa Harvey, Noah, Luke and Eden Harvey of Fredericksburg, VA. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the Bower Funeral Home, Chapel with the Rev. Neal Hawks officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski. Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski is handling the arrangements.
