He had resided at Picher, Oklahoma, for many years where he worked in the Tri-State mining district. John was survived by his sons, SGT Eddie Crimmins of Lindsay and 1st LT Lloyd Crimmins of Oklahoma City. He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace, and an infant daughter, Ruth.
