"BROUGHT HOME AND BURIED: The remains of George STEEL [Steele], of Co. M, 4th Iowa Cav., were brought home on Thursday last. He died in the Hospital at Keokuk. On Friday his body was escorted to the grave yard by the Union Guards and buried with military honors. He leaves a wife and several children to mourn his loss.
