Deanna K. Vester PORTSMOUTH - Deanna Kaye Vester, 38, went to be with her heavenly Father May 21, 2009. She was born in Norfolk Aug. 27, 1970. Deanna was an avid billiards player having played on teams in the Tidewater area. She enjoyed playing bingo, collecting wolf paraphernalia and bells from all over the world that her mother and husband bought her. She was an avid Tony Stewart NASCAR Fan. Deanna loved her husband, Harold Vester, who was her best friend for 20 years. She also leaves to cherish her memory her 18-year-old twin children, Brandon and Brittany Vester, whom she loved more than life itself. She was looking forward to her daughter's graduation on June 11 more than anything else. She is also survived by her mother, Joan L. Workman; stepfather, Edwin F. Workman; grandmothers, Gearaldine Womble and Elsie Brown; brother, Michael James Womble and his wife Kathy and their daughter Allison Joan; sister, Kathy Ann Watson-Provost and her husband Matt and their children Jesse, Kristy and Kelly and their children; her special aunt and employer, Brenda Wright; aunt, Gloria Potteiger; uncle, Romy Womble; many cousins; special friends, Jan and Dave Overbay, Susan Mills and Tracy Mullen and many other friends. She was predeceased by her father, James Felton Womble; adopted father, Richard F. Kleemann; and grandmother, Mary E. Gardner. A funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral from noon until 2 p.m. in the funeral home.
