Mrs. Julia Ann Knouff, eighty-seven years of age, and one of the most respected women of Town Creek, who passed away at her home on Friday was laid to rest on Saturday in the Courtland Cemetery.
Mrs. Knouff was widely known and held in the highest esteem by all who knew her and her death has brought sorrow to a wide circle of friends.

Julia was the daughter of John and Lydia Sell who lived Pennsylvania, Ohio and Indiana. Julia married John Knouff on June 14, 1861 in Stark County, Ohio. They moved to near Kentland, Indiana in 1864. In 1896 they moved to Town Creek, Alabama for John's health. Julia died in Town Creek, Ala in 1930.

Ida Childress, Minnie Ulrey, John E, Albert, Willie, Charles, Warren, Bessie, Sherman and unnamed infant.
Four of her children are buried in Indiana.
