William Copple, 62, Dies at Hospital
William C. Copple, 62 years old, died last night at a local hospital. He was a lifelong resident of St. Joseph and made his home at 5329 Lake avenue. Mr. Copple was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruth Copple, one daughter, Mrs. Luella Twaddle, St. Joseph; two stepsons, Charles Mattox, Los Angeles, Cal.; and Lester Mattox, St. Joseph; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Violet Prentis and Mrs. Viola Akins, both of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Mary Breitbarth, Valparaiso, Ind.; one brother, Edward Copple, and one sister, Mrs. Minnie Wright, both of Agency, Mo., and five grandchildren. Services will be held in the Rupp chapel at 2 p.m. tomorrow, J. D. Dryer officiating. Burial will be in Agency Cemetery.
