Eddie Oneta Steele

Eddie Oneta Steele, 90, of Duncan, died Thursday, April 3, 2003, in
Duncan.

Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel
with Artie Bryant officiating. Burial will be in Duncan City Cemetery.

Eddie Oneta was born July 14, 1912, in Fannin County, Texas, to Harvey W.
and Maude M. Whitley Wiseman.

She married Waldo Steele on Oct. 20, 1950, and he preceded her in death on
Nov. 4, 1996.

Mrs. Steele was a homemaker and worked for Cessna in Wichita, Kan., in the
aircraft manufacturing department.

She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

Survivors include two brothers, J.R. Wiseman and Daniel Wiseman, both of
Duncan; two sisters, Helen Fullenwider of Duncan and Lorene Cosby of
Dallas, Texas; two grandchildren, Denise Beck and Debra and Artie Bryant,
all of Duncan; two great-grandchildren, Scott Bryant of Duncan and Lori
and Matt Lang of Mansfield, Texas; a great-great-grandchild, Brooklyn Lang
of Mansfield; and longtime friend, Janet Casselberry of Duncan.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and a son, Joe Ed Beck on
Nov. 29, 2001.

Bearers will be Denise Beck, Debra Bryant, Scott Bryant, Janet
Casselberry, Don Bauman and Matt Lang.
