A resident and native of Albany, he died Friday, July 5,2002, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge. He was 40. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Vernis Wolfe. Interment in Hungarian Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Survived by his wife, Gail Cowart Arceneaux; a daughter, Amanda Julia Arceneaux; parents, Leroy and Anna Kovach Arceneaux; and a brother, Darrell Lee Arceneaux, all of Albany. He was an elder with the Hungarian Presbyterian Church, member of Arpadhon Hungarian Cultural Association and employed with the Livingston Parish School Board.
