Sebaston Aarion Bevins, infant son of Jennifer Oppegard and Samuel Bevins, both of Naytahwaush, Minnesota, died Sunday, October 18, 2009 at Mahnomen Health Center, Mahnomen, Minnesota.

Sebaston was born July 24, 2009 at St. Mary's Regional Hospital in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota to Jennifer Oppegard and Samuel Bevins. As an inquisitive baby, Sebaston always wanted to see what was going on around him. He was also a very happy baby with a constant smile that could light up any room. He was always an independent baby, holding his head up from the beginning, sucking his thumb and puking often on anyone who held him. Sebaston was really becoming vocal and laughed a lot, especially when he was tickled. He enjoyed bath time and getting snuggled in to watch TV. Sebaston was very precious to his family and his siblings were very protective of him. Though he was only here a short time, he touched many hearts and will live on with each of them.

Sebaston is survived by his parents, Jennifer and Samuel of Naytahwaush, MN; one brother, Samuel Bevins Jr.; three sisters: Tiniah, Taeanna and LaRissa Bevins all of Naytahwaush; grandparents: Curt Bevins, Dolly Londo, both of Naytahwaush, Mike (Patty) Oppegard of Rice Lake, MN and Calvin (Paula) Littlewolf of Naytahwaush; great-grandmother, Opal Londo of Hendrum, MN; aunts: Neomonie (Joe Sr.) Bevins of Grand Portage, MN, Skyler Accobee of Naytahwaush, Apple (Anthony Fairbanks) Hill of Naytahwaush, Indy ( Duddy Hagen) LaFriniere, of Waubun, Minnesota, Judy Bevins and Julie Bevins, both of White Earth, Minnesota; uncles: Jeremy (Naomi) Londo Sr., Jesse (Kayla) Londo, Richie Littlewolf all of Naytahwaush, Mike Oppegard Jr. of Mahnomen and Jake Littlewolf of Naytahwaush; and many cousins.

Sebaston is preceded in death by many relatives.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 23, 2009 at 11 am at Anne's Catholic Church in Naytahwaush, with the wake on Thursday, October 22, 2009 from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at St. Anne's Catholic Church. Interment is in the Traditional Cemetery in Naytahwaush.
