Mr. Edgar Ross Adams was born in Bridgeport on June 18, 1886. Death came June 13, 1957 in Harris Hospital in Fort Worth after undergoing surgery. Funeral services were held in the Chapel of Hawkins Funeral Home on June 14, 1957 at 10:00 a.m. Interment was in West Bridgeport Cemetery. Rev. A. G. Severin conducted the services. Pallbearers were Carlis Pitts, J. T. Morgan, Roy Morgan, Stephen Curley, Ike Hartsell, Carl (Rook) Ramsey.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Beulah Adams of Bridgeport, one daughter, Opal Daugherty of San Jose, California, two sisters, Lola Beville of Bridgeport, Mrs. R. L. Moore of Stockton, California, and one grandchild, Susan Daughtery.
Out of town relatives for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Morgan of O'Donnell; Mr. and Mrs. John Pitt of Jacksboro; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Morgan and Mr. J. T. Morgan of Fort Worth; Mrs. Henderson Smith of Memphis, Texas; and Mrs. Bertha Barns of Chico.
