Sudden Death.
The little six-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Jones, who live in the Arthur Hoyt house in East Chandler, died unexpectedly last Friday evening. He was seriously sick with throat trouble several weeks ago. After he recovered from that he complained of pain in the region of the stomach but no doctor was called until Thursday of last week. Dr. Davis was then summoned. As soon as he saw the child he told the parents that he was in a dying condition. Other physicians were called in consultation, but nothing could be done for the sufferer. An autopsy disclosed the fact that he died from congestion of the liver. It was found that the liver weighed three pounds.
Funeral services were conducted from the home by the Modern Woodmen Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, interment being in the Oak Park cemetery.
