Vera Nell (Goodson) Bragg age 82 of the Victoria Community departed this life Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at Heritage Retreat Care Home in Houston, TX.
Funeral services will be held at Victoria Baptist Church on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 11:00 AM
Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery Elba, AL.
Visitation will be at Victoria Baptist Church on Saturday, October 24, 2009 from 10:15 AM to 11:00 AM.
On January 31, 1942, Vera Nell was united in holy matrimony to Willie Grafton Bragg and to this union, four children were born: one daughter and three sons.
She was preceded in death by her husband and oldest son, John Stephenson Bragg and her brother O'Neal Goodson.
Mrs. Bragg gave thirty years of service to the Elba City Schools where she was devoted to safety and well-being of the students on her bus.
