DARRELL LEROY THOMPSON

Darrell LeRoy Thompson, 64, Bronaugh, died Wednesday morning at Trinity Lutheran Hospital, Kansas City.

Born Jan. 25, 1915, at Bronaugh, he was the son of Chauncy Lee and Pearl Feller Thompson. Most of his lifetime was spent in Bronaugh except for four years when he lived in El Dorado, Kan., and worked for Skelly Oil Company. He was a farmer and carpenter. He was a member of the Bronaugh Christian Church, a charter member of Bronaugh Lions club and a member of Nevada Elks Lodge and Carpenters Union 127. He was married June 27, 1937, in Sheldon to Virgie Marie Selim, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include four sons, a brother, five sisters, and seven grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m., Friday at the Bronaugh Christian Church with the Rev. Max O. High officiating. Interment will be in Worsley Cemetery, Bronaugh.

The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 8:30 this evening at Milster Funeral Home, Nevada.
