DEATH OF MRS. C. N. M'CLANAHAN AT CARUTHERSVILLE, MO.
One of Vernon County's Most Excellent Women Passes Away--Funeral in Nevada Wednesday.
A telegram received this morning from C. W. McClanahan at Caruthersville, Mo., announces the death of his wife in that city at 4 o'clock a.m. Monday. The death of this excellent woman will be deeply regretted not only by relatives, but by a large circle of friends and acquaintances in Nevada and Vernon county.
Mr. and Mrs. McClanahan were at Caruthersville on a visit with their children.
There are hundreds of friends of Mr. and Mrs. McClanahan who will receive with sincere sorrow this sad news. She was a most excellent Christian woman and esteemed for her Christian character and all those kindly qualities which command respect and admiration.
The remains of the deceased will reach Nevada tomorrow morning. The funeral will occur Wednesday at 10 a.m., from Centenary church, conducted by Rev. McCord, assisted by Rev. Caskey.
