Anderson Lawson, 85, Dies; Pioneer Texan
Anderson Lawson, 85, retired carpenter of 270 South Ewing, a resident of Texas since he was a child, died Tuesday at his home after a short illness. He had lived in Dallas on and off for the last years, coming there from Rockwall where he settled as a youngster. He was born in Washington County, Kentucky, Oct. 28, 1852. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lovicia Lawson; a son Harvey Lawson, Dallas; a daughter, Mrs. H. D. Kendall, Carthage and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at
3 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Rockwall with the Rev. D.D. Sumrall officiating. Burial will be in Rockwall Cemetery.
