CARSON, PRINCE – 1919-2001- 81, of Paint Rock Road, Oneida, passed away on Tuesday morning, May 22, 2001, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Murfreesboro. He was the son of the late ANDY CARSON and MARTHA LAXTON CARSON and was also preceded in death by one brother, ALONZO CARSON. He was a member of the Christian faith and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include two brothers, DEXTER CARSON and ANDY J. CARSON of Oneida; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held on Friday, May 25, at 11 a.m. at west-Murley Funeral Home chapel, with Rev. RONNIE DUNCAN officiating. The Duncan Family sang. Burial was in the Carson Family Cemetery. West-Murley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
