Clara Redden Isaacs was born in Leavenworth, Indiana, April 15th, 1867 and died June 5, 1934 at her home in Enid, 419 North Second street at the age of 67 years, one month and 20 days.
When a young woman, Mrs. Isaacs moved to Ft. Madison, Ia., with a younger brother and her mother to make their home with an older brother who preceded her in death by two months. On January 5th, 1888 she was married to James Isaacs in Ft. Madison, Iowa. They lived there a few months, then moved to Devon, Kansas, where they made their home until 1902 when they moved to Enid, where they have lived ever since.
To this union was born three children, two daughters and one son, one daughter dying in infancy. Mrs. Isaacs united with the First Baptist church shortly after moving to Kansas and moved her memberhsip to Enid when they first came here.
