George Schiltz Buried Here Tuesday Morning
George W. Schiltz, adopted son of Mr. and Mrs. John Schiltz, was born at Shannon, Ill., January 4, 1883 and passed away at Clarinda, Iowa, July 15, 1934 at the age of 49 years, 5 months and 11 days. On October 20, 1915 he was united in marriage to Rose Honz and made his home around Dunlap all of that time. He has been in poor health the past 15 years. He leaves to mourn his departing besides his wife, three sisters and three brothers, John, Michael and Henry, and the sisters, Mrs. Lena Bear, and Mrs. Mary Hodatt of Illinois, and Mrs. Josephine Selig of Hospers, Ia. Funeral services were conducted from the Catholic church in Dunlap Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock. Interment was in the Pleasant Hill cemetery.
