Martha Maldonado, age 68, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2008. She was born on November 3, 1939 in Jonah to Eustacio Maldonado and Josefa (Rodriguez) Maldonado. Martha retired from both IBM and the Georgetown Independent School District. She was active in the Newman Club and the Bereavement committee. Martha was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Benito Acosta of Georgetown, Texas; her children, Laurinda Acosta of Austin, Texas, Nicole Espinoza of Georgetown, Texas, Isaiah Espinoza of Georgetown, Texas and April Zombola of Round Rock, Texas; and numerous other family members and friends.
The family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Monday, August 11, 2008 at the Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas with a rosary to follow at 7:00 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Helen Catholic Church in Georgetown with Monsignor Louis Pavlicek officiating. Interment will follow at Georgetown Memorial Cemetery in Georgetown.
Serving as pallbearers will be Isaiah Acosta, James Zombola, Martin Espinoza, Axel Sigmar, Joe Maldonado, Jesse Maldonado, Juan Maldonado and Jacinto Maldonado.
