CALDWELL — Services for George Henry Hogg, 92, of 1924 Cleveland Boulevard, who died Monday in a Caldwell nursing home, will be conducted at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 2 p.m. Friday by Bishop Wallace Plant. Interment will be at Hillcrest.
Mr. Hogg was born Oct. 19, 1881, in Morgan, Utah. He married Beatrice M. Steele Aug. 21, 1912, in Conrad, Mont., and the marriage was solemnized later in the Logan LDS Temple. He farmed in Wyoming and Idaho for many years, lived in Kelso, Wash., for five years, and had lived in the Caldwell area since 1947. Mrs, Hogg died Sept. 21, 1971.
He was a member of the Caldwell LDS ward, and was high priest at the time of his death.
Surviving are two sons, Roland and Robert Hogg, both of Caldwell; a daughter, Mrs. Mary E. Dulson of Boise; 22 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Larry Hogg, in 1943; a grandson, and a great-granddaughter.
Friends may call at the Dakan Funeral Chapel until 9 p.m. today.
