MANUELITO CANYON — Funeral services for Herbert Kee Morgan Sr., 100, will be 10 a.m., Oct. 26, at Rollie Mortuary. The Rev. Roger Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Gallup.

Morgan died Oct. 22, 2009, in Manuelito Canyon. He was born Oct. 23, 1908, in Ganado, into the Edge Water People Clan for the English People Clan.

Morgan attended Ganado Mission School and Sherman Institute, Riverside, Calif. He was a Manuelito Chapter Council Delegate and Chapter Official and Eastern Agency Land Board member. Morgan worked at Camp Navajo Army Depot, Belmont, Ariz. and was a rancher and farmer.

Survivors include his sons, Herbert Morgan Jr., Henry Morgan, George Leo Morgan, all of Manuelito; daughters, Grace Morgan, Jean Morgan, both of Manuelito.

Morgan was preceded in death by his parents, Juan Lorenzo Hubbell, Ason Suie; wife, Louise Morgan; sisters, Miriam Martin, Margaret Curtis, Elsie Curtis, Nellie Yazzie, Pauline Yazzie; sons, Raymond Morgan, Thomas Morgan, Harry Morgan, Richard Morgan Sr., James Morgan; daughters, Ninibah Cahn, Ruth Green, Veronica Begay; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Justin Morgan, Derwin Morgan, Russell Morgan, Matthew Morgan, Duane Crawford, Jerald Begay.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Church of God, at 1 p.m., following services, in Manuelito.
