Kate Moyer Isett was born April 30, 1866 to John Dysart Isett and Margaret J. "Maggie" Moyer in Blair, Pennsylvania.

On October 27, 1896 she married Jacob Gemmill Davis in St. Paul, Ramsey Co., Minnesota. He was previously married to Eleanor Banks Gardner. Kate and Eleanor were first cousins.

Kate and J. Gemmill Davis had the following children:

Gemmill Cluggage Davis (1898-1976)
Baby Boy Davis (1901-1901)
John Stockdale Davis (1904-1973)
Henry Osborne Davis (1906-1971)
David Moyer Davis (1909-1909)

She died at home at 524 Penn Street in Hollidaysburg, Blair County, Pennsylvania.
