Passed away on Tuesday morning, September 12, 2006 at her home in The Colony, Texas after a long illness. Tammi was a Christian and was baptized at a young age of 8 years, and she now resides with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Tammi was born on March 9, 1967. She graduated from Newman Smith H.S. in Carrollton. Prior to starting her family, Tammi was employed by Dallas North Bank and Merrell Lynch. Tammi is survived by her loving family, including her children, Courtney Gale Anders and Daniel Edward Anders and their father, Harold Edward Anders of Alvin, Texas. She is also survived by her mother and step-father, Glenda Brooks-Tidwell and Hershel Tidwell, her sisters and brothers-in-law, Samantha Lynne and Wesley Judge, Dayna Leane and Charles Ingrum, four nieces and nephews, Austin and Lindsey Judge, Allison and Maxwell Ingrum. Other survivors include aunts and uncles, Marilyn and James Slaughter, Arlyne Overman, Darrell and Robert Overman, Janis and Don Outler, and Jacqueline and Norman Edgett. She is also survived by a host of cousins and family friends. Tammi was predeceased by her father, Timothy Mitchell Brooks, as well as her grandmothers, Lela Belle Pinkston and Mary Virginia Overman, great-grandmother, Emaline Wiggins, and her uncle, Joseph E. Overman. Tammi was a beautiful young woman, and she will be missed by all who love her. Donations to the NIAAA in lieu of flowers will be appreciated.
