Maude E. Paul Biery, 95, of 9689 E. County Road 100 S., died at 9:45 p.m. Saturday, April 3, at Home Hospital. Mrs. Biery was a homemaker, also had worked at a Dayton Bank for several years. Born July, 30 1903, in Pettit, she was a lifelong area resident. Mrs. Biery graduated from Dayton High School and attended Adrian Business College in Michigan. She married Paul H. Biery on June 29, 1927 (correct year 1929) in Dayton. He died on Sept. 11, 1965. Mrs. Biery was a member of Memorial Presbyterian Church of Dayton, the Sheffield Extension Homemakers, Dayton Hobby Club and the Americus Quilters. She was a 75-year member of the Dayton Order of Eastern Star 233. Surviving are two sons, E. Bruce Biery of Dayton and Miles K. Biery of Lafayette, and a daughter, Carolyn S. Finkenbinder of Lafayette.

Friends may call 5-8 p.m. today at Soller-Baker Funeral Home, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., and an hour prior to services at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Dayton Memorial Presbyterian Church of Dayton, Rev. Stanley Bomgarden officiating. Interment Dayton Cemetery. Preceded in death by a granddaughter, Teresa Ann Biery Sixby, and 2 brothers, Walter Paul and his twin brother. Memorial contributions may be made to Dayton Memorial Presbyterian Church.
