DEATH CLAIMS MRS. ADKINS

Mrs. Amanda M. Adkins, 75, died at 7:30 pm yesterday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ison R. Gillum, Franklin Funrnace, Ohio after an illiness of one month. She was a native of Eliott County.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 pm from the Martha Church on Hoods Creek with the Rev. Paul Turner of Wheelersburg, Oh., officiating assisted by the Rev. Tommy Howard of Kitts Hill, Ohio. Burial will be made in the Martha Cemetery.

The body was removed to Miller Funeral Home and will be taken to the residence of a niece, Mrs. Tom Bullington, 621 12th St. at 7:30 pm today.

Surviving in addition to her daughter are three sons, Dewey Adkins, Ashland; Cecil Adins, Hagerstown, Ind.; and Elmer Adkins, South Charleston, Ohio; one brother, Greene Johnson, Norfolk, Va.; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Salyers, Fairview, Ky.; Mrs. Martha Gillum, Ironton, Ohio; and Mrs. Jane Sparks, Thatcher, Ariz.; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
