Mrs. Arthur was a homemaker. She was baptized into the Kingdom of God at the age of 16 and lived a very faithful life. She was a member of Maumee Pentecostal Church. She had a love for all animals, especially her dogs.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike in Columbus with the Rev. Randall Burton officiating. Calling will be from 9 a.m. to time of service Thursday. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Chambersville Cemetery in Spencer.

Mrs. Arthur was born in Brown County, January 13, 1917, the daughter of Otto L. and Dorval Gracie Hendricks Jones
She married Ralph D. Arthur on May 15, 1936.
Survivors include a half sister, Helen Jones of Bloomington, and Roy and Martha Kinser of Columbus, whom she considered to be her children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on February 17, 1995, and a brother, Wendell Jones.
