The deceased was born and reared in Guernsey County, the son of James W. Boswell and Lena Wallar Boswell, daughter of the late Jeremiah Wallar of Georgetown. For many years he was employed at the sheet mill and left here a few years ago for Newton Falls, where he was a steel worker. Since establishing his home in Akron, he had been employed at the Goodyear Rubber Factory. He had numerous friends here.
Mr Boswell was a veteran of World War I and saw service in France where he was severely gassed. Early in his life he united with the United Brethren Church.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs Emma Brough, of Newark; and four brothers, Edmund and Owen, of Cleveland; Burnham (Vernon), of Columbus; and Orville, of Springfield, Ohio. Mrs William Wortley of Zanesville is an aunt of the deceased; and Harry W Amos, of Cambridge, a cousin.
