Berkley Winn Mower, 71, our loving husband, father and grandfather, returned home to our Heavenly Father, January 8, 1992, after a valiant battle with a lingering illness.

Born October 16, 1920, Fairview, Utah to Winston and Thelma Larsen Mower.

Married Elaine Smith April 11, 1953; later solemnized in the South Jordan LDS Temple.

Retired from Kennecott where he worked for 34 years.

Active member LDS Church, Army Veteran of World War II.

He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed camping, reading, and being with his family and loved ones.

We will miss him with all our hearts.

Survived by his wife, Elaine, West Jordan; three children and spouses, James H. and wife, Shirley Rogers, Sandy; Scott W. and wife, Chari Mower, West Valley City; Lisa and husband, Dave Cunliffe, Springville; eight grandchildren; brothers, Tom Mower and Jim Mower; sister, Thelma Allred.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 11, 1992, 11 a.m., Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, where friends may call one hour prior to the service.

Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the doctors and nurses at the Veterans Hospital for the years of wonderful care they gave Berk, especially in the last days.
