In the 1910 Green County schools listing for Skaggs School, we find from Celery, Kentucky: W. M. Walker's children: William C. Walker, b. Apr 27, 1898; Fred R. Walker, b. Feb 15, 1900; and John L. Walker, b. Aug 7, 1901.

LaRue County Herald, Jan 6, 1955:

Mr. Willie Walker, aged former resident here, died at his home of his son, Mr. [Johnnie] Lee Walker, near Hodgenville, on Dec. 24, after a lingering illness. He is survived by three sons, Clyde and Roscoe, of this place, and Johnnie Lee, with whom he was making his home.
He was a member of Holly Grove Church where his funeral was conducted on Christmas Day by the pastor, Rev. Coy Kidd. Burial was in Whitlow Cemetery.
