George Everett Baxter married Sarah (Murphy) Prescott after Fred O Prescott, Sr [my Grandfather] passed away in 1937.
George lived with Fred and Sarah for many years. He would have been the father figure for some of the youngest Prescott children, after Fred's death, so possibly more info will come forth at a later time. I don't believe that George and Sarah had any children of their own.
I have found some family info about him through records. He was the son of William M and Cora (Bates) Baxter, and had a brother Ralph and a sister Eudora (Baxter) Morrison [husband Thomas].
George passed in 1960 at the VA Hospital (He served in WWI) and was interred in Melrose Cemetery in the Prescott family plot.
