Mr. Sadler was born November 17, 1928, in Sheffield, the son of the late William B. and Ruth (Henry) Sadler, Sr.
He was a 1949 graduate of Warren High School, and served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years, retiring in 1969. He then worked at the Blair Corp. in 1979 for a time, and left the company to work for the John L. Blair family, until retiring in 1999.
Mr. Sadler was a member of the Sheffield VFW and the Warren Eagles Club.
He is survived by his wife, Donna (Collier) Sadler, whom he married on July 13, 1974; a daughter, Amber Newcomer, San Bernardino, CA; a son, •Donald Sadler, Stockton, CA; two sisters, Mrs. William (Ruth) Wolfe and Mrs. Richard (Jean) Masterson, both of Warren; a brother, James Sadler, Warren; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., with Rev. Marcus Briggs, pastor, Rouse Home and Warren General Hospital, officiating.
Entombment will be in the SI. Joseph Cemetery, Mausoleum of Ascension.
Memorial contributions may be made the Warren County Humane Society, 212 Elm St., Warren, PA 16365, or to a charity of choice.
