FAULKNIER, Arnold Richard, 86, of Richmond, died Monday, June 8, 2009 at Manor Care in Richmond. He was born November 22, 1922 in Monroe County, W.Va., a son of the late Willie Lee and Ora ( Weikle ) Faulknier. Mr. Faulknier was a member of and deacon at Boulevard Baptist Church in Richmond, and retired from Interbake Foods. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cora Estelle Goode Ragland Faulknier. Survivors include a daughter, Juanita Evans; a stepdaughter, Thelma Gantt, both of Richmond; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, five brothers and four sisters. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Thacker Brothers Funeral Home in Scottsville by the Rev. Bob Fleming. Burial will follow in Scottsville Cemetery.
