He was the devoted and loving husband of Chermaine Thomas. He was the devoted father of four daughters, Marie Wilson, Chantell Alexander, Tinika Arnold and Tammy Jackson, all of Baton Rouge; and two sons, Ellis and Edward Wilson, both of New Orleans. He is also survived by four sisters, Martha Dunn, of Cincinnati, Delores Washington, of Lawton, Okla., Faye Johnson and Joyce Matthews, both of Baton Rouge; a brother, Clay Alexander, of Baton Rouge; 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
