Gordon R. Larson, 87, Buffalo, ND, died Thursday, October 29, 2009 in his home. Gordon was born August 24, 1922 at Buffalo, ND, where he was raised. After attending school in Buffalo, he began working on area farms. He married Frances Kasowski October 19, 1943 in Casselton, ND and they lived in Buffalo since that time. Gordon worked for Cargill Elevator in Buffalo for ten years and then worked for the Cass County Road Department until retiring in 1987.
Gordon and Frances spent many winters in Mesa, AZ and enjoyed summers at the lake in MN.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Frances; three daughters, Judy (Ed) Szczepanik, Gilbert, AZ, Janice (Roger) Delano, Lena, WI, Jane (Clyde) Anderson, Buffalo, five granddaughters, two great grandchildren; brother, Robert (Mary) Larson, Tower City, ND and a sister, Elaine (Kenneth) Ronning, Buffalo.
Visitation: Monday, November 2, 2009 from 6 to 7 in the Buffalo Lutheran Church, Buffalo, ND, with a prayer service at 7.
Funeral Service: Tuesday, November 3, 2009 @ 10:30 in the Buffalo Lutheran Church.
Burial: Buffalo Cemetery.
