Owen H. Burke Jr., a longtime Yonkers resident and a retired sheet metal worker with Local 28 who worked on the World Trade Center, died on October 29, 2001 at the Northern Westchester Hospital. He was 78. Beloved husband of the late Irene. Devoted father of Owen H. Burke III of Yonkers and Colleen Walsh of Yorktown Heights. Loving grandfather of Christine, Ryan and Elizabeth Walsh. Friends may call at the Oelker and Cox Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Mt. Kisco on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Funeral Mass on Friday at the Gate of Heaven Chapel at 10:30AM. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the World Trade Center Relief Fund preferred.
