Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Matthews Allen; three daughters, Mrs. Hattie Dingman of Conklingville, Mrs. Frank Brink of Clyde and Mrs. Elmer Swartout of Rochester; six sons. Myron Allen of Saratoga Springs, Frederick Allen of Glen Falls, George Allen of Luzerne, Eugene Allen of Chesterton. Frank Allen of Hudson Fails
and Orlie Allen of Clyde; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Orlin V. Kelly of Sodus; a stepson, Frank Lee of Clyde, and a sister, Mrs. Cornelius Reynolds of South Glens Falls.
Services were conducted at 2: 30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in the Methodist Church by the Rev. R.F. Smithson. Burial was in Rose Cemetery with members of the
Brotherhood, of which Mr. Allen was a member, as bearers.
