Born May 8, 1913 in Leicester, England, to Ernest and Florence Annie Smith Coleman. Married Luelle Hone on July 31, 1934, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Active in the LDS Church, serving in the Bishopric as Bishop and the High Council and many other positions. He loved to hunt and fish. He worked for Dixon Paper Co. (Expedix) for 41 years. Ronald is survived by his children, Shirley (Vertis) Smith, Carole (Merlin) Evans, Myrna (Art) Hupka, Judy (Ralph) Burton, Robyn (Mike) Broadhead, and Barbara (Jeff) Kearl. Also 21 grandchildren and 46 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, two brothers, and two sisters. Funeral services will be held Thursday April 6, 2000 at 11 a.m. at the Granger West 9th Ward, 3300 South 4440 West. Viewings will be Wednesday April 5, 2000 from 6-8 at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 South 200 East, Salt Lake City, UT and again before the service from 9:30-10:30 at the church. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens of the Valley. Funeral directors, Russon Brothers.
