Deceased Name: GARY L. ARNOLD
The funeral for Gary L. Arnold , 65, Lime Street, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bossuot-Lundy Funeral Home, Carthage, with the Rev. Cindy-Beth McCune, pastor of Natural Bridge United Methodist Church, officiating. Spring burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
Mr. Arnold died Friday evening at Carthage Area Hospital, where he had been a patient for several days.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Arnold was a self-employed well driller and worked in construction with the local Laborers Union.
Born Dec. 3, 1941, in the town of Diana, son of Leland and Ivy Evans Arnold , he graduated from high school in Westford, Mass., and served in the Navy for four years as a gunner aboard the USS Intrepid.
He married Adelia Deon on July 30, 1963, in Ayer, Mass.
Mr. Arnold enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
