George W. BURROWS was a Civil War soldier, serving in the 21st Regiment Connecticut Vol. Co. E. He enlisted 8 Aug 1862 as a private and was discharged for disability 27 Mar 1863. George was a mechanic. In 1860, he was living in Groton with his wife Sarah Maria BURDICK and daughter Lillian. Sarah died in 1884 and George married Ann MAJOR of Providence, RI
