Mrs. Markus Bakken, 75, of Hannaford died November 5 in the hospital here, where she had been a patient since the day before. Funeral service will be Friday at 2 in Hannaford Lutheran Church, the Rev. Alexander Thompson officiating. Mrs. Bakken was a member of the church and its ladies aid.
Anna Sebby was born at Eidfjordd, Hardanger, Norway, August 13, 1882, and came here in 1905, settling in the Wimbledon area. She was married to Mr. Bakken in November, 1911.
Mr. Bakken survives, as do two sons, Arthur of Crookston, Minnesota and John of Fargo, two daughters, Mrs. Claude (Myrtle) Freer, Walum, and Mrs. Ivan (Thelma) Nelson, Phelps, New York, and six grandchildren.;
Burial will be in the Hannaford Cemetery.
