There is an article in the Heritage of Randolph County, Alabama book (publ. 1998) which mentions Little Berry Green (born Sept 22, 1809 in NC) which says that he first married Matilda Arrington, then after she died married Sarah Teal. Here are some excerpts from that article:

"Little Berry Green's father was John R. Green who is believed to have had ten children, and is said to have migrated from North Carolina to Greensboro, Georgia before 1830. (This Green family lived in Campbell County, GA in 1830's, 1840's. He died in Randolph County, AL 28 May 1873)

Little Berry Green married first Matilda Arrington Aug 26, 1829 and they had five children:

Sarah Ann Green b. Sept 2, 1830
Lucy Green b. Aug 23, 1832
Frances Green b. Dec 25, 1834
Andrew Jackson Green b. Oct 2, 1837
Mary Elizabeth Matilda Green b. July 2, 1840

Matilda Arrington Green died Aug 19, 1841. Little Berry Green married a second time to Sarah (Sallie) Teal Nov 15, 1842 in Campbell County,GA. She was born Oct 26, 1818 and was probably a daughter of Joshua Teal who lived near the Greens in Campbell County, GA. Little Berry Green and Sallie Teal had ten children:

Gravesite Details

Little Berry Green was born in the year 1809 in what later became Campbell County, GA. Campbell County was a county of Georgia from 1828 to 1931. Campbell County was ceded to Fulton in 1931, along with Milton County, to save money.
