June H. Fitch, 81, of St. Albans died Monday, June 7, 1999, in Thomas Memorial Hospital after a short illness. She was a homemaker, a member of St.
Peter's United Methodist Church, St. Albans, a lifelong resident of St. Albans, a member and past matron of St. Albans Chapter 79 Order of the Eastern Star, a past worthy high priestess of White Shrine 7, Charleston, a charter member and past high priestess of Ladies Oriental Shrine Court 77, past royal matron of Amarantz Court 9 and past president of St. Albans Woman's Club. Surviving: husband, John R. Fitch; sons, John Charles Fitch of Sterling, Va., Robert H. Fitch of St. Albans; brothers, William Hawes of Nitro, Chester Hawes of St. Albans, Lester Hawes of Dunbar; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Peter's United MethodistChurch, St. Albans, with the Rev. William G. Thompson III officiating. Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park
