ASHLAND - Forrest R. Smith,
79, died Sept. 26, 1990, at Aurora,
Colo.
He was born Nov. 23, 1910, in
Harper County, Okla., the son of
James Montgomery and Mabel
Maria Wright Smith. A resident of
Ashland most of his life, he was a
retired Locker Plant owner.
He was a member of the United
Methodist Church, Ashland.
On Dec. 10, 1933, he married Iola
C. Hart at Woodward, Okla. She
survives.
Other survivors include: A son,
Duane, Meade; two daughters,
Yvonne Green, Aurora, Colo. and
Kaye Atwater, Bartlesville, Okla.
two sisters, Frances Phillips,
Marysville, Calif., and Eleanor
Schiro, Sacramento, Calif.; seven
grandchildren; and one great-
grandchild.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m.
Monday at the United Methodist
Church, Ashland, with the Rev. Jim
Swank presiding. Friends may call
from 1 to 9 p.m. Saturday .and from
. 9 a.m. to 9 p.m, Sunday at Fidler-
Orme Mortuary, Meade, and from
9:39 a.m, to service time Monday at
the church. Burial will be in the
Highland Cemetery, Ashland.
Memorials may be sent to the
Alzheimer's and Similar Diseases
Association in care of the mortu-
ary.
