Leland O. Harp, 85, of Indianapolis, passed away April 7, 2005 in Indianapolis. He was born Aug. 23, 1919, in Corbin, KY to Ples and Pearl M. (Early) Harp. Leland was a mail clerk for General Accident Insurance Company 20 years, retiring in 1984. Prior he served in the shipping department of H P Wassons 12 years. He was a member of the Woodruff Place Baptist Church, Centre Masonic Lodge #23 F & AM. First wife Mary M. Harp and his sister, Cleda Wininger, precede Leland in death. He is survived by wife, Opal Hurst-Harp; son, Delbert D. Harp; step-sons, Robert and Richard Hurst; 2 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; a great-grandson; and two step-great-granddaughters.
