Russell was the son of John Parks Norcross & Nancy "Nannie" Margaret Logan-Norcross. He married on 12-21-1904 to Jennie L Ashbaugh. They had three sons: Donald Raymond, Loyl Dean & Basil John. Died of Alcoholism in jail- Family felt he could not cope with losing the farm.
